Through summing up status and the development trends and problems of the hydraulic calculation of diffuser in sewage project, this paper gives the hydraulic calculation model of outfalls in sewage project under the influence of waves and flow, and presents seawater intrusion mechanism and removal methods.Firstly, base on the data of experiment of physical model, the resistance coefficient of nozzle and T-links have be determined in this paper, and a hydraulic calculation model of non-uniform emission have be set up under the influence of waves and flow by using Bernoulli's equation, which would be creative in the hydraulic calculation of diffuser. The newly built model could be applied to calculating the riser's discharging and head loss in Shanghai Sewage Project. The results would be reliable and accurate, and it can be directly applied to similar projects. According to the calculating analysis, the press change resulting from wave plays very important role in the hydraulic calculation of diffuser, thus waves can not be ignored in engineering design.Secondly, this paper gives initial discussion of preventative measures for seawater intrusion, and puts forward series of preventative measure for seawater intrusion of diffuser, including engineering measures and the removal methods of intrusion.Finally, the problems requiring further studies are discussed.
