With the development of society and improvement of science and technology, the traditional mode of making the Shoe-last is not adapt to the requirement of the rapid development of shoe manufacture industry presently. The NCSCM(Numerical Control Shoe-last Carving Machine)which has been developed, must make more Shoe-last with high precision and lubricity, and meet the variety and short the cycle in the modern Shoe-last industry. So the study of NCSCM become more important significance.Based on the project funded by Guangzhou Foshan Shi Ma Science Technology Limit Company—"Development of Shoe-last Carving Machine", this dissertation makes a deep research on development and application of real-time system to Shoe-last Carving Machine. With the comparison of traditional mode of making the Shoe-last and the scheme of development of NCSCM, the scheme about numerical control Shoe-last Carving Machine has been presented, which is based on the technology of SERCOS interface.With the opening numerical control construct, the principle about the choice of real Operation System has been proposed. Through analyzing the real-time performance of Windows XP and feasibility as the operation system of NCSCM, the real-time kernel about numerical control which is based on RTX has been adopted. Based on software structure analysis method, the system was divided as four parts.With the designing of the hardware system framework of opening numerical control system and discussing of the principle of real-time data exchange between the SoftSERCANS and CNC(Computer Numerical Control), the system structure about soft-CNC has been proposed. Using the method of real-time multitask development, the system of NCSCM has been divided into two parts----real-time control system and non-real-time control system separately. The function of two parts have been designed separately and combined by communication mechanism.In this thesis, the means of software structure analysis and real-time multitask development has been adopted, and the method of NCSCM development has been mainly explored. The effective work in the exploration of the method of making of the Shoe-last Machine has been done and can be referenced by the similar application to some extent.
