Clean Coal Technology is the technical measure aimed at the environmental pollution caused by usage of coal, which can not only take advantage of the coal to large extent, but minimize the pollution to the lowest degree. Clean Coal Technology makes economic benefits, social effects and environmental function unified, which creates the new face of coal exploitation, makes coal be so efficient, clean, reliable energy to serve the national economic development and environmental protection needs.The thesis is divided into five chapters:The first chapter gets a good view of the history of clean coal technology at home and abroad by the comparative studying. Through the comparative study on the development, the origin, the development process, the focus on the development and major policy of Clean Coal Technology in the United States, EC, Japan and China, the author sums up the development of their respective characteristics, explores the barriers and the promotion of clean coal technology development factor by the method of the unification of logic and history.From Chapter II to Chapter IV, according to the burning of coal, conversion of coal and coal combustion, the author classifies and selects eight specific Clean Coal Technologies: Coal Preparation Technology, Briquette Technology, CWS technology, Coal Gasification Technology, Coal Liquefaction Technology, Exploitation and Utilization of Coal-bed Methane, Comprehensive Utilization of Coal Gangue and Coal Slime Technology, studies their coverage significance and studies their origion and history.The fifth chapter based on the information to develop clean coal technologies in Jincheng Group, studies the history of Clean Coal Technology in Jincheng Coal Group, and analyses the interaction between Clean Coal Technology and coal enterprises sustainable development by the method of the unification of practice and theory.Conclusion: the development of clean coal technology is the necessary choice which can make the coal industry unify the social effect and the healthy development, and can make China solve the problem of the energy and environment now and in the future, and can make our country build a harmonious society, implement of scientific and technological development view, achieve sustainable development.This paper encountered three difficulties. Firstly, the data is the key factor in the research of the history of science, so the author tried her best to get the relevant information and collect data by going to the Jincheng Group, capital library, provincial library, Shanxi university library and Science & Engineer university library and so on, in order to make the data authentic and sufficient. Second, writing the history of science in the first stage, on the technical history of the phased basis, according to the development of technology transition, significant technological invention, the special contribution of the technology famous home ,to the changes in the relations of production, etc, such as the staging of the standards, dating to the vertical division of the different stage of development. This staging is based on the scientific and academic community are also recognized. But Clean Coal Technology as an emerging technology development is uneven, and therefore, simply using the technology of vertical evolution dating phased approach, it is very difficult to Clean Coal Technologies to the development of a comprehensive history sketched out. Therefore, in addition to the vertical evolution phases, in accordance with the technical categories for horizontal phases is necessary. In this paper, two kinds of organic phased approach to integration, and it is conducive to a more comprehensive, more accurately put the development of Clean Coal Technology history objectively reflected. Third, Clean Coal Technology involved in a number of professional areas, It needs extensive knowledge and background knowledge to master all the relevant theory. The paper mainly takes the Shanxi Jincheng Anthracite Mining Group development and application of clean coal technology as an example, researches the Clean Coal Technology at home and abroad and the application in China's coal industry from the perspective of the history of science. So it has important theoretical and practical significance.
