Preparation And Evaluation Of Cationic Natural Polymer Flocculant

Flocculating is one of the most extensively used among all water treatment methods. The nature of the flocculants influences directly the effect of flocculating. The natural organic macromolecule used in water treatment is nonpoisonous, easily biodegradable, no secondary pollution, wide Raw material sources, and low price advantage. These merits have been paid attention in recent years in development and application. This paper selected the natural organic macromolecule material with abundant source and cheap price一the peanut, made them into powder form flocculant, and studied its flocculating performance and application based on the analyze and summarizing the preparation of the existing natural organic macromolecule flocculants and flocculating performance.Firstly,The natural macromolecur flocculant was prepared with peanut and cationic modification ETA.This paper designed a series of performance experiment schemes, settingthe suspending liquid of diatomite as the target. Through quadrature experiment get the best synthesize condition (the 3 g peanut shell powder)were: alkali temperature 50℃, alkali time 90 mines, preparation reflecting temperature as 80 degrees, preparation reflection time is 3 hour, the ether turns a dosage (30%) and peanut shell powder quantity compare 1:5, Flocculate experiment indicate cactus flocculants hang to diatomite turbid liquid department is it flocculate performance well to have, transmittance can reach about 85% in final surfacing. We have studied the best treatment result under the influence of different influence factors. Having done corresponding comparison with other flocculants, the result shows, the cactus flocculants can match in excellence with them to flocculate the result, flocculating constituent its spend size to be heavy, fast to subside speed.In addition, this text has also done preliminary experiment research to its practical application, the experimental result shows: The natural macromolecur flocculant makes better result to pretreatment of sludge,electroplating effluent and wastewater from living, getting rid of chromium rate can be up to 74% and getting rid of phosphor rate can be up to 58.3%.
