It is advantageous to adopting valid measure in time and makes the loss degree of trouble reduce least to carrying on numerical emulation to toxic gas dispersion and calculating result of an accident. Numerical emulation model and harmful material category involve a great deal of parameter; it is very difficult to satisfy the request of time and accurate degree just depending on a handicraft calculation. Therefore apply a calculator technique can raise calculation speed and the calculation result accurate degree consumedly.This paper develops computer software to carry on numerical emulation of toxic and analytical to the human body injury result. The major work and conclusions are as follows.(1) Studied in common use toxic gas dispersion model and developed the numerical simulation system for concentration distributing calculation of toxic gas dispersion using Microsoft Visual Basic6.0 technique.(2) More than 300 kinds of poisons, dust etc occupational harm critical standard value are collected, including Hydrocarbon, aldehyde, keto and so on, are also collected. the database of dangerous substance parameters is established, and many useful functions, including database query, addition, deletion, are offered by the software.(3) Based on the technique of Visual Basic 6.0 program language visiting Access database, and national related designate, carry on quantitative analysis to estimate personnel hurt result, calculate the concrete reference data that a personnel withdraws, prevent an actually valid reference basis for providing accident happen.(4) By analysis and calculation an example, introduced concrete application method systematically of each dispersion model, made use of Visual Basic's draw function, display the function picture of concentration distributing calculation of toxic gas dispersion intuitively and visually, provide basis of further research.(5) The software can be used to assess systemic fatalness of productive and deposited equipments in petrochemical industry, and is worth of engineering application.
