Study On Limit Pulverized Coal Injection Under Present Economic And Technological Conditions In BF At Panzhihua S&I Corp.

Limit pulverized coal injection in BF at Panzhihua S&I Corp. has been studied in this paper, considering gas permeability in BF, slag fluidity and economic returns of pulverized coal injection (PCI), after study on consumption of unburned PCI in BF at Panzhihua S&I Corp. From the paper, we can find:The combustion capability of lean coal is better than anthracite. Raising ratio of lean coal in mixed pulverized coal, mixed pulverized coal combustion rate increases. Better combustion rate has been achieved at high oxygen-enriched rate. Augment of coal ratio will make combustion rate of mixed pulverized coal decrease. Pulverized coal combustion rate will be improved with increasing of <200m rate in mixing coal, if the rate exceeds 80%, when raise <200m rate in mixing coal, combustion rate of mixed pulverized coal improve unobviously.Only considering gas permeability, the limit PCI in 4BF at Panzhihua S&I Corp. is about 219kg/t when blast temperature is 1050℃,oxygen-enriched rate is 5%, slag weight is 680kg/t, the rate of <200m in mixing coal is 80% and PCI is anthracite (60%) and lean coal (40%). Only considering slag fluidity, the limit PCI is about 233.6kg/t in 4BF at Panzhihua S&I Corp. Only considering economic returns, the limit PCI is about 222kg/t in 4BF at Panzhihua S&I Corp.In practical production, limit pulverized coal injection in BF must meet gas permeability in BF, slag fluidity and economic returns simultaneously. So the limit PCI in 4BF at Panzhihua S&I Corp.is about 192kg/t when blast temperature is 1050℃,oxygen-enriched rate is 3%, slag weight is 680kg/t, the rate of <200m in mixing coal is 70% and PCI is anthracite(60%) and lean coal(40%). The limit PCI in 4BF at Panzhihua S&I Corp. is about 219kg/t when blast temperature is 1050℃,oxygen-enriched rate is 5%, slag weight is 680kg/t, the rate of <200m in mixing coal is 80% and PCI is anthracite (60%) and lean coal (40%). The limit PCI in 4BF at Panzhihua S&I Corp. is about 220kg/t when blast temperature is 1050℃,oxygen-enriched rate is 5%, slag weight is 580kg/t, the rate of <200m in mixing coal is 80% and PCI is anthracite (60%) and lean coal (40%).
