The paper is based on the crawler travelling system of the 55m3 mining excavator as the research object,used ADAMS/View as a primary means,to research on running dynamics of the crawler travelling system of the 55m3 mining excavator.The specific research process is as follows:(1)On the basis of reading a large number of references,the paper proposes its purpose and significance of the study of the topic and,and expounds on the study status of the crawler vehicle,introduces the crawler travelling system of the mining excavator in detail,at last,the paper summarizes the crawler travelling system of the 55m3 mining excavator for the content of the study.(2)The paper uses UG three-dimensional modeling software to establish the 3D models of the driving wheel and the crawler board,then assembles into the crawler travelling system.(3)The paper analyses force about the crawler travelling system of the 55m3 mining excavator and the work principle.Using the formula provided by the literature[13],the paper calculate the traction and the resistance on four conditions of in the forward torque constant,constant speed ahead,constant torque back,a constant speed of the track back.Then we can receive the traction that can meet the requirements of resistance on the ground.It provides dynamics load to the dynamics simulation.(4)When the crawler travelling system works after a period of time,the crawler board have relative rotation,when transmission between each other and lead the pin hole weared.Tracked plate pitch girth,chief of the crawler chain elongation,so that the track-side vertical chain of change,Increased dynamic load,vibration,caused jump teeth,increase noise and other damage.Therefore,we analyse the meshing between the driving wheel and crawler plate.In this paper,the crawler plate pin hole is the biggest round with the driving wheel circle tangent.Based on this relationship,the driving wheel pitch equivalent to 486mm can be calculated.Analysing the engagement between the driving wheel and caterpillar board (the pitch changes bigger)when they are wore.The paper calculated tracked chain pitch growth rate not exceeding 208.946mm,the crawler travelling system would not have occurred from chain.(5)Leading the crawler travelling system model that is built in the UG software into ADAMS environment.Firstly,following some of the principles that is used in the simplification of the model on the appropriate simplified the crawler travelling system.Secondly,imposing constraints on the crawler travelling system,the specific process is as follows:1)Imposing constraints between the crawler boards,and if imposing rotating constraints among all the crawler boards,there will be a surplus restraint,in many simulation tests,which will be found if the two rotation constraints,replaced by a cylindrical constraints,another constraints replaced by dot constraints, this model without unnecessary constraints.2)Imposing rotating constraints between the driving wheel,guiding wheels,auxiliary guide wheels,wheel bearing and child care.3)Imposing plane constraints between the supporting plate and ground to limit the care of zone plate along the Z-axis direction ran.4)Imposing fixed constraints between the floor and ground.In the crawler travelling system,driving wheel,guiding wheels,auxiliary guide wheels,the supporting plate are contacting with the crawler boards.Therefore,we need to impose the contact forces between them,so that the model can close the actual simulation model.However,if we impose the contact forces between the installation of 42 tracked crawler plate and driving wheel,guiding wheels,auxiliary guide wheels,wheel bearing,nine supporting plate,in the usual methods will be very complicated,this paper uses ADAMS which onboard Macros functional to edit contact order to prepare procedures,and this can make contact force of the parameters imposed.(6)The paper analyses and simulates the crawler travelling system in the five conditions of the constant torque forward,forward speed constant,constant torque back,constant speed back,constant torque climbing.Comprehensive analysis of all the simulation curve,we can see crawler travelling system of the mining excavator,both in the Ping Road or on the ramp,there is always four track plates mesh driving wheel,when the crawler travelling system moves forward,the curve of the driving wheel of heart rate,the curve of the driving wheel of heart acceleration,the curve of the contact force between the driving wheel and the crawler board have similar laws;when the crawler travelling system moves back, the curve of the driving wheel of a moving heart rate,the curve of the driving wheel of heart acceleration,the curve of the contact force between the driving wheel and the crawler board have similar laws and the curve of the contact force between the driving wheel and the crawler board in the Y-axis direction have shown approximate sine curve, Z axis of contact force curve fluctuations are Not great.(7)After finite element analysis of the driving wheel,we can see that the driving wheel in the four conditions of constant torque in advance,constant speed ahead,constant torque back,constant speed can satisfy the requirements of strength,and has stronger flexural capacity.(8)The paper establishes seven teeth driving wheel crawler travelling system,eight teeth driving wheel crawler travelling system and nine teeth driving wheel crawler travelling system,and follows the analysis method about the crawler travelling system of the 55m3 mining excavator,then simulates the three kind of driving wheel crawler travelling system,the paper also does the finite element analysis of three kind of driving wheel,at last,after the comparative analysis,we can know the eight teeth is the optimal driving wheel teeth.In this paper,the analysis ideas of the crawler travelling system of the 55m3 mining excavator can be the reference and reference for other similar large-scale structure of the mechanical design and analysis.
