The Design And Research On Electrical Automation Control System For Slab Caster

The continuous casting is using the liquid steel casting by slab caster, the condensation, cutting obtains directly casts the semi finished product from the process. It is not only save the energy sources, but also the important measure to improve yield rate, and the resolution of the continuous casting of steel, automation, reduce labor strength and improve the environment is the central link in steel production.This paper is combined the most advanced technology of continuous casting machine at home and abroad. The in-depth study was encircled by such areas in the continuous casting machine automation control hardware electrical systems, automation network control systems and procedures design.Firstly combined the craft characteristic of slab caster, the movement some important electrical machinery equipment were carried on velocity modulation processing by using the inverter control technology. The load equalization control plan was designed, especially to the fan-shaped section's motor-driven system, implements the most superior computation through the closed-loop control and to the system parameters. Quoted at home and abroad as the Mould with hydraulic oscillation, Mould width adjusting on-line, dynamic regulation of second cold-water technology, we developed and designed the electrical slab continuous casting machine automation hardware control systems.Secondly combined the real situation of BaYi Iron and Steel Plant, using the computer, AB PLC and other communication equipment set up the I/O long-distance arrangement cabinet and the disposition PLC system on the automatic network system has conducted the in-depth research, and then designed the three-level automation network control system.Finally the research and development programming of Slab caster first level electrical system automation, the second-level production management system has been conducted by using AB Logix5000 programming software and the Intouch software. The discussion of the development, the modularization, and the standardized procedure's establishment has carried on.In this paper the development and design of electrical slab continuous casting machine control system has been applied on steel plant on the 3rd slab caster of the BaYi iron factory. The results show that electrical control system is stable and reliable, good quality slab, production efficiency has been greatly increased, lowering energy consumption was significantly.
