PTFE is one of the Prior research of the Pre-heated Polymer,which has the Exeellent ProPerty of chemical-stability and nati-high and low temperature(the usage range is -200-260℃),anti-radiating,inter-electricity and the lower friction modulu and so on.It is well-known as "the king of plastics".But due to the molecule structure and its bell-shape crystal is easy to be peeled off by the slice,PTFE puts up the worse mechanics performance,worse anti-wearing,the higher of the line expand moduluse and bear the weight of big distortion,and what's more,Compared to other plastic,the density and thermal conductivity is greater.These Characteristics Limit its applications as thermal insulation materials.Because of is its density and low thermal conductivity,hollow glass microballon can be used as a kind of filler insulation material.Secondly,It is the sphere and the surface is smooth,so it has some merits,such as the factor of porosity is low and The packing quantity is high.Secondly,it does not like other fillers with anomalous shape or edges and corners,which will cause stress concentration to reduce the mechanical properties of composite materials.At last,it is cheaper than other fillers used now.According to high viscosity characteristic of PTFE,the way to make powder to metallugry,adopting the mould-sinter molding technology in making the composite materiais.The compress intensity,hardness,impact intensity,heat insulation performance,heat-resisting performance,density and water-absorptivity are researched.Alter testing,we get the curves of the compress intensity,hardness, impact intensity,heat insulation performance,heat-resisting performance,density and water-absorptivity.The microstreurte of comprosit is studied by using a scanning electron microscope(SEM),and we find out the hollow glass micro bead's integrity and the distributed situation in composite materials.At the sametime,we researched and analyzed the mechanism of the hollow glass microballon enchancing PTFE and KH-550 change mechanical property and water-absorptivity of composite materials.The result indicated,after filling some hollow glass microballon into PTFE, compressive strength,thermal deformation temperature and water-absorptivity of compound materials rose,and the hardness,the impact properties,the thermal conductivity and the density of compound materials droped.It indicated that:it obviously improved the compound materials heat-resisting performance and reduced the compound materials moisture resistant performance to fill PTFE with hollow glass microballon.The composite materials filled with hollow glass micro bead dealed with KH-550 is different from which is filled with hollow glass microballon not dealed with KH-550.Compared with hollow glass microballon not dealed,The composite materials filled with hollow glass microballon dealed with KH-550 has better compress intensity and lower water-absorptivity.
