Hot wall hydrogenation reactor is key equipment in petrochemistry industry. It is used to in-service under high temperature & pressure and on hydrogen. The working condition is very execrable. There are a series of problems which required to be solve for the main material of hydrogenation reactor, include medium corrosion, stress corrosion, hydrogen attack, hydrogen brittleness, damage due to tempering brittleness and damage due to creep brittleness. The fatalness increase with the service time added for hydrogenation reactor. So, it is very important to make proper inspection procedure and perform periodic inspection.The study task collects the information of hydrogenation reactor; include inspection information, testing information and experience summarization. Aim at the real case of TianJin petrochemical company's hydrogenation reactor, make academic study from characters of main material, and structure character and operation parameter. Find out the problem always arises in service and integrate the code, finished an integrate inspection procedure for hydrogenation reactor and design and manufacture a set of special calibration block for two reactors manufacture by Japan. The procedure applied to the site inspection for TianJin petrochemical company's hydrogenation reactor, finds and repairs more than one crack during inspection. To get rid of the hidden trouble and provide guarantee for safe, long-term, steady manufacture. It is not only the economy benefit very great, but also the societal effect is tremendous.
