Hydrogenation reactor is the key equipment in refinery and petrochemical industry, long-term situate high temperature (350~480℃), high-pressure(0~25MPa), hydrogen condition, the materials face a series of material damage,such as hydrogen brittleness,tempering embrittlement,acid corrosion and so on. Actual engineering proofs that with the increase of service life,material degradation of hydrogenation reactor is inevitable. In addition, for technology, management and various reasons, this kind of equipment is prone to appear poor manufacturing quality, serious defect and such kinds of problems; additionally, a lot of equipments overterm service, "tainted" operation and safety assessment backward, there are all kinds of accidents happened often. And regular testing can find defects in time, it is the important link to safeguards such equipment keeping safe operation ; Meanwhile, give safety evaluation to such equipment, which can guarantee this equipment to give full play to their potential in a safe premise. Therefore, try to make such equipment do regular inspection and detected defects, was able to ensure such equipment operate in safety evaluation and economicly, which promotes economic construction in nice and fast development, maintaining social stability. Based on the cracks of R-301 hydrotreating reactor of a petrochemical company periodic inspection, According to the standard GB/T19624-2004 "pressure vessels containing defects in the safety assessment", the most dangerous crack of this device is assessed safety.First, for the concrete structure of hydrogenation reactor and the major damage main form, inspection emphases and specific inspection plan are decided.Second, because of the complexity of the reactor conditions, both withstand mechanical stress and the heat stress influence, the stress around the crack is not easy being determined. In this paper, finite element software ANSYS, make thermal stress analysis in crack parts, obtained the stress at the welding cylinder in work temperature and pressure, provide an effective basis for the stress analysis of behind safety assessment.Finally, according to the standard GB/T19624-2004"pressure vessels containing defects in the safety assessment", the most dangerous crack of this device is assessed safety, at the same time the fatigue life of the reactor were estimated, provide reference to determine the reasonable safety inspection period.
