The newest standard of the Chinese light car pollution emission will be implemented to start in July 1, 2007. Producing the low sulfur, the low aromatic hydrocarbon, the low olefin clean fuel becomes a long-term topic in the oil refining industry.Since long term, the catalytic cracking becomes one of the main methods of secondary processing in our country, 80% of gasoline constitutions comes from the catalytic cracking process. The olefin contents of catalytic gasoline reach as high as 45% ~60% (vol), because it not only forms the deposit in the engine spray nozzle, the gas admittance valve and the combustion chamber, but also difficultly escapes its fault in regard to forming the photochemical smog .Therefore the new technology for the existing FCC installation is urgent needed to develop in the refining oil enterprise of our country in order to produce the olefin content of the clean gasoline up to the automobile emission standard and to satisfy the market demand.The catalyzed gasoline auxiliary reactor technology is the new technology of gasoline olefin-lower. It was developed by the Petroleum University (Beijing) Heavy Oil Processing Country Key Laboratory. The main technical characteristic incluses that (1) the gasoline olefin content is reduced with a large scale; (2) the liquid yield is high and the gasoline loses slightly while upgrading; (3) the yield of the liquid gas and the gasoline fraction are changed; (4) the auxiliary reactor is combined with the original catalytic cracking equipment; (5) the diesel oil yield and propylene yield are increased in the situation of reducing the gasoline olefin content.This paper elaborated to the catalytic reaction mechanism and the catalyzed gasoline auxiliary reactor technology principle, pointed out the tradition catalytic cracking technology malpractice and which brings a series of changes to the installment after using the gasoline auxiliary reactor technology, through discussing several catalytic olefin-lower technology and contrasting the gasoline output and nature of adopting this technology around. Thus it explained the catalyzed gasoline auxiliary reactor is the important method of gasoline olefin-lower.Petrochina Fushun Petrochemical Company No.2 Refinery use the gasoline auxiliary reactor technology, and entrusted Petrochina Engineering Construction Company engaged in reforming design for No.2 Refinery 1.5×104 t/a heavy oil catalytic cracking unit. The unit has been reformed in December, 2003, got additional design of the processing gasoline ,as well as riser-bed reactor, the subsidence, also used the independent fractional column plan for the first time in domestic. The reforming result had indicated adopting this technology might cause the catalytic gasoline olefin content to be reduced by 50 vol % about to 35 vol% below, even to 20 vol% below. Not only may ensure the whole factory gasoline quality might be reached the standard, but also may nimbly adjustment the production of gasoline and the blending plan according to the market conditions. While meeting the gasoline quality to be reached the standard, the enterprise economic benefits are improved.
