Based on the existing drumtype flying shear,the article analyses the working principle of flying shear and designs the machinery structure of roller flying shear again.It separately draws the two-dimensional and three-dimensional maps of the flying shear various parts with AUTOCAD and PRO / E and assembles on the complete machine.According to the purpose and request that drumtype flying shear is designed,it builds the mathematics model and determines out the fundamental parameter.Then it determines the shearing force,moment of force and the shearing work of flying shear when it is in cutting. According to the mechanical system flywheel torque it calculates out rated power and rated speed of the electric motor.It carries on the stress analysis of main spare parts of the flying shear and carries on calculating the application on rigidity and intensity of the forced parts with statics and dynamics knowledge.And it also examines the rigidity and the intensity.It carries on the simulation of the flying shear cutting process with the mechanical movement simulation module and analses speed and acceleration of the cutting edge of the flying shear.The flying shear which is described in the article is designed by brand-new design method.It reduces volume of the mechanical driving system and the complete machine and enhances the production efficiency and the cutting quality.It designs the automatic regucating device which can change the cutting edge gap and changes manuac gap adjusting method.It greatly reduces the gap adjusting time which is used in adjusting crack.
