In the numerical control processing, the machine tool under the control of system has achieved automation. But, we still mainly process with the non-automated way to carry on the installment localization of the components (work piece).This non-automated operating mode would be able to make the processing the non-cutting time long, the clamps the efficiency to be low, the attire clamps the precision person's skill and the condition quality influence would be very large. Thus the existing operating mode is entirely incompatible with the high accuracy, the high efficiency, high flexible, the high automated characteristic of numerical control processing.The paper studied a way to measure and identify the correct location of the work piece on engine bed based on the computer vision, then confirm the allude relationship between the workpiece coordinate system and the engine bed coordinate system according to the real fixed location on the engine bed. At last, we adjust the process to control the tool contrail on the engine bed coordinate system according to the allude relationship, so we can accomplish the numerical cutting. This technology doesn't require the workpiece has the only one correct position on the engine bed, so we don't have to design and manufacture the special clamp, and don't have to measure the correct posion of the workpiece. We only have to fix the workpiece on the engine bed with the right orientation, the engine would be able to processing the workpiece automately. That have resolved the above problem we mentioned just now, which has increased the work efficiency of the cutting.The paper completes the main following contents:Use two cameras binocular vision hardware systems based on the PC machine control, completes from the different spatial spot obtains the identical object the picture to be right. We have carried on the standardization of the camera, elicited the parameter of the camera. And then analysed the error origin of the camera and aims at the erroneous reason to adopt corresponding rectifies or the reduced error measure. Use program processed the picture gathered by the camera. Carries on the tone up to the picture, the image threshold value division, edge examination processing. Picked up the characteristic point of the workpiece.The paper completes the three dimensional reconstruction of the characteristic point and elicited the produced according to the spatial three dimensional coordinates computation of mathematical model after the camera standardization.Studied the coordinate transformation between the workpiece coordinate system and the engine bed coordinate system, elicited the transformation matrix of the workpiece coordinate system to the engine bed coordinate system, all of this work aimed to realize the computer to make program according to the real position of the workpiece.
