Numerical simulation technology, which is efficient and low cost, has been widely used in iron and industry recently years. With the developing and progressive of the computer, many researchers of domestic and broad have studied on the simulation of continuous rolling of steel wire.Finite element method have been regarded as the most efficient tools to analysis materials molding process and heat exchange and production quality, to predict the parameters of roller force and investigate new production. With the characteristic of low cost and short exploiture time, machining process which can not be done by physical simulation or experiments are described. In this paper, software of MSC.Marc and it's 3-D thermo-mechanical coupled technology and advanced contact analysis technology have been used to simulation the process of the continuous rolling. Base on the thermal physical parameters and relative rolling technics and boundary conditions, have been adopted to simulate the process of the continuous rolling, the process of billet deformation in the roller can be predicted before the production, and the changes of metal fluxion, the concave phenomena of the billet head, the field of stress, temperature and pertinent mechanical parameters are calculated and analyzed. The simulation results are reliable and precise, which provide basis and guidance for rolling production and the optimization of the process parameters. This thesis also resolved the unbalance load in the roller during rolling through change the press measure under the initial temperature according to the fact of the factory. It added a roller before the first roller so as to decrease the roller force, and lays a foundation for the further study. This work is proved to have some academic value and practical merit in some degree.
