With the rapid development of industry, the requirements of various kinds of mechanical performance and products quality have increased gradually. Only control one motor can't meet the demand of modern Hi-Tech development in some occasions, people need to control several motors and make them run coordinately. The synchronous control of multi-unit drive systems is just a science technology organized with mechanical technology and electronic technology. The research on its theory and method has a very important realistic meaning in order to keep this kind of machinery operating effectively and reliably.In this thesis, the heavy NC machine tool C-axis's feed system developed by QIQIHAR Heavy CNC Equipment CO., Ltd is driven by double-motor driving servo system. The general picture of the servo system is firstly introduced in the text. It uses double motors to drive the system together in order to satisfy the big inertia and makes them have asynchronous movement. At the same time, it uses torque bias based on driven by double motors to realize the electric anti-backlash. Thus it makes the nonlinear system including gear clearances into an approximate linear system. For satisfying the high performance, good dependability and low power cost, etc. this thesis builds the model of double-motor synchronized driving servo system. The advantages of the double-motor driving servo system can be seen compared with single motor servo system by MATLAB simulation. From the basic construction of the system, the nonlinear factors in some servo systems are studied. Except for getting rid of these factors form mechanism, describing function analysis of an anti-backlash controller and optimal control algorithms are studied how to be applied to the elimination of backlash nonlinear. Some useful results are gained. Now the performance requirement of the system is satisfied.
