Multicolor direct screen printing machine for glassware is one of the main equipments for glassware deep processing. The effect of screen printing machine is to print thermoplastic glaze onto glassware, put it into decorating firing stove decorating fire and solidify, gain pattern and brand the consumer wanted for decoration and increment. There hasn't analysis and research for glassware screen printing machine in china presently.This article has discussed screen printing machine's research actuality and development trend both here and abroad, and find out the disadvantage of existing homebred screen printing machine for glassware. Based on homebred three-color direct screen printing machine, we consult the same type of equipments overseas into which the scientific research and cooperation enterprise introduced, and begin researching according the technical demands of multicolor direct screen printing machine. Then the main structure of multicolor direct screen printing machine is designed, we research the intermittent movement which is the core of the driving system. We have designed new type of sheave mechanism with lower pair instead of higher pair. This situation can enhance the load capacity of sheave mechanism and let it operate more steady and reliable. We have finished the design of its gas circuit and lubrication system.The virtual design and motion emulation aiming at its drive system and shadow mask's reciprocating are actualized by Pro/ENGINEEER. From this part, we gain the graph of key part sheave and shadow mask's displacement, angular speed and angular acceleration, and validated the rationality of the structure design. It establishes the bedrock for finite element analysis. Static load stress analysis and fatigue analysis for sheave are processed by Pro/MECHANNICA. We go along the sensitivity analysis, optimal design, and optimize some importance structure dimension. It provides practical bases for design.With four-color direct screen printing machine for glassware being the main research object, the technique level of glassware deep processing in domestic area is enhanced, the international competition ability is increased by applying the theory such as mechanical design, finite element and screen printing, using computer aided design, advanced design methods and so on. It presents the advanced design thought facing consumer. Aiming at practical industrial product, we transform the fruit into productive forces and got some results. The research has practical value and science significance.
