In this dissertation, taking atrazine as a model pollutant, ecotoxicity of the pesticides was evaluated by studying its toxicity and trauma effects on Vicia faba, Danio rerio and Eisenia foetida. The effects on activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and peroxidase (POD) of atrazine on Vicia faba, Danio rerio and Eisenia foetida were studied respectively. From the biochemistry aspect, toxicity effects of the pesticides on Vicia faba, Danio rerio and Eisenia foetida were evaluated. Trauma effects of atrazine on DNA were tested by using single cell gel eletrophoresis test. From molecule level, some primary discussions of the possible induced mutation were made in the experiments. The results could be summarized as follows:1. Effects on activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), peroxidase (POD) of atrazine on Vicia faba were studied, and the results showed that, the SOD, CAT and POD activity at 2.5 and 10 mg·kg-1 treatment increased at the start and then decreased, while at 5 mg·kg-1 treatment increased in the whole experiment.2. Effects on activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), peroxidase (POD) of atrazine on Danio rerio were studied, and the results showed that, compared to the controls, the SOD and CAT activity at 2.5 mg·L-1 treatment were significantly stimulated, while the POD activity at 2.5 mg·L-1 treatment was significantly inhibited. The SOD activity at 5, 10mg·L-1 increased at the start and then decreased, while the CAT and POD activities at 5, 10mg·L-1 fluctuated at intervals.3. Effects on activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), peroxidase (POD) of atrazine on Eisenia foetida were studied, and the results showed that, compared to the controls, the SOD activity at 2.5 mg·L-1 treatment was inhibited, while the CAT and POD activities at 2.5 mg·L-1 treatment were significantly stimulated. The SOD and POD activities at the 5 mg·L-1 treatment increased at the start and then decreased, while the CAT activity at the 5 mg·L-1 treatment fluctuated at intervals. Compared to the controls, the SOD and CAT activities at the 10 mg·L-1 treatment were significantly inhibited, while the POD activity at the 10 mg·L-1 treatment was significantly stimulated.4. In the single cell gel eletrophoresis test, the results showed that, the tail lengths and olive tail moments of Vicia faba, Danio rerio and Eisenia foetida were enhanced after treatment with different doses of atrazine on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th d, and DNA fragmentation showed a dose-response relationship, and significant differences were found compared to the controls.
