Oil and gas resources is extremely important resources. Crude oil stability is a very important step. The combustion gas venting of the tower in the process of oil stability, not only pollute the environment, but also be a waste of the important chemical raw material.Reducing gas emissions of the tower and recycling the chemicals is an issue that is conducive to the economy and the environment. Therefore, I collected some relevant information by studying.Gas of top tower is the gas component of oil stability. Its recovery is mainly by shallow cooling process. This paper mainly studied the process of it, and improved it. Not only recycling the light hydrocarbon, but also reducing the hydrocarbon emissions and recycling chemic materials of economical benefits.Reformation of the main process: (1)reformation of the compressor: a horizontal type separation tank(F-04) was put in front of the gas-liquid separator F-01; (2)Overhead gas pressurization system: gas-liquid separator(F-04)of compressor was rectified roundly, a primary separator was put in front of F-04; (3)reformation of heat transfer: increased a compressor after cooler; (4)refrigerent: adopting mixed refrigeration technique propane refrigeration compression cycle refrigerants.The successful modification and commissioning of the device provided an important reference of the same kind of the device. In 2007 a set of device was established by Nanyuan stock company in the forth combination station of Qingpu village in the seventh oil production plant, and it has been already operated regularly and obtained better economic benefit. In 2008 the natural gas collecting device of 5 million cubic meter will be established by Nanyuan stock company in the forth combination station of Qingpu village in the 7th oil production plant.
