The pipeline transports over 95 percent crude oil in the actual transportations because of its investment low, the quantity of transportation high, space compact, safety and no pollution. The research of pipeline transportation is significant for the development of petroleum industry and the use of energy sources.There are many complex unsteady thermal and hydrodynamic problems in the process of oil transportation, such as the processes of preheating, shutting down and restarting. So the unsteady thermal and hydrodynamic research of the underground oil pipeline is necessary to make sure that the pipeline runs safely and economically.This paper calculates and simulates the SHENBEI pipeline. The oil will be transported after the water is transported in regular and reverse way. The process of preheating and starting-up succeed and the calculation value of the reverse is accord with the actual value.The program was made in the Visual C++. This paper calculates and simulates the case of shutdown and restarting base on the actual date. The oil and soil temperature of shutdown and restarting, the pressure of the restart can be simulated truly. The thermal and hydrodynamic research of the oil pipeline provides a dependable base for the manager of long pipeline transportation.
