The mine winch is indispensably important equipment for a coal mine. The technical level of our country's winch is out of date. Even some are modeled after Soviet product of 1950s,which are inefficient ,inconvenient and short service life. Along with the mechanized development of coal mine mining, those outdated equipments have not been able to satisfy the practical request, also influence the coal mine on safe product and normal product.The purpose of this article is to consummate the design of mine double velocity winch Transmission system more. In this article, It introduce virtual prototype technology to design and manufacture the double winch. Virtual prototype technology uses no resource and energy, produces no practical product and only realizes the design of the product in computer. After analyzing the structure and work principle of SDJ-8 mine double velocity winch, this article calculates and verifies the key-part intensity. Then it establishes the model by using computer aided design. It sets up optimized mathematics model of the drive system under the virtual prototype technology and the optimized design method and optimizes the drive parameters to minimize the gear volume in gear-box under the protection of accessory intensity and rigidity. It leads the model to the dynamics simulation software ADAMS, analyses the kinematics and dynamics simulation and studies simulation results in order to verify the reliability. It analyses the key-part by using the finite element method in UG software, studies the accessory stress and strain under certain load, which predicts whether the design accessory could meet the requirements and ensures the design reliability.This article uses the Virtual Prototype Technology to studying the SDJ-8 double velocity winch transmission system. It may perfect the design of double winch and alter the traditional design method. The aplication of Virtual Prototype Technology could complete the SDJ-8 double winch designing without making a physical prototype. It will not only reduces the design cycle and increases product design feasibility, but also saves the material and reduces the production cost.
