The textile color fastness test always is an extremely difficult work. The traditional test method always is the manual range estimate chromatic aberration,receives lmits of the environment,the photo source, staffs vision,distinguishes color experience and so on. In order to solve this difficult problem, the people have carried on the massive research work, and along with the computer technical of measuring the color and matching the color rapid development, the research proved the instrumentation replaces the person eye to appraise the difference of the color is completely feasible, which has already made the very big progress after the long-term endeavor of predecessors. The technology has already obtained the widespread application in many domains. This study makes use of the research to metameric colours in color space, to achieve a new way of measuring color fastness, a more precise way of measuring clor fastness. General idea is that copying the color character of fabric through the way of digital tools, to abtain metameric colours images of fabric of the RGB color space coordinates in computer, and then to measure and analysis metameric colours images, with traditional optical measurements are in line with the results even more accurate Numerical, and ultimately achieving the fabric color measurement analysis and rating purposes. The main purpose of the thesis is to apply this theory to practice to carry on the test of the color fastness, compare test result with traditional spectrophotometer and expert's sight, the result analysis contrast may see obviously that the topic in uses in this topic chromaticity space metameric colours phenomenon color fastness color determination principle surpasses the spectrophotometer of the present universal use in the fabric color fastness rating efficiency. Therefore we thought that this theory may apply in the chromatic aberration rating domain, may replace the human eye to carry on the survey and the evaluation to the color.
