| With the rapid development in digital technology, the function of color management software is increasingly powerful. In addition the application of CTP technology, digital proofing, screen proofing provides an important means for the accurate transmission and control of modern color. Screen soft-proofing technology just as the rise of a new technology in recent years is concerned by more and more people.Paper mainly researches and analyses the problems arising in the soft-proofing process. Successful screen soft-proofing not only needs a high-quality display, it is also necessary of professional color management software, color measuring instruments and tools for evaluation, and a set of standardized color management workflow, in which the standardized color management worksoft is particularly important, it directly determines whether the soft-proofing is practical or not.Based on this topic taking into account that the color LCD transmission equipment system can achieve more accurate color transfer,therefore paper mainly researches the features of Screen soft-proofing based on the LCD display. This paper studies: (1) product printing presses Sample through the experiment , establish the characteristics documents of the print meeting the printing characteristics, calibrate the LCD monitor, generate the display characteristics documents .watching the experimental results use matchprint, vitrual ,pressproof softwares which Kodak designed for printers. Establish a set of color management software for small and medium-sized enterprises based on screen soft-proofing . (2) analyse the characteristics documents quality of LCD display equipment and printing equipment ,evaluate the data smoothness of the three-dimensional color look-up table with Gaussian .(3) evaluation of soft-proofing effect.Based on the analysis and research of the characteristics in the process of screen soft-proofing ,we have received some meaningful results and solved the problems in the soft-proofing process.
