The figurative simulation of plant and strip rolling program is developed in the MATLAB/Simulink platform and utilizes the visualized icon to express complex rolling process. The figurative rolling simulation program divides the rolling system into certain sub-systems according to the function, then is packed to the corresponding functional module, and builds the simulation structure drawing which the rolling needs with the joint method of control system so as to carry on the computer simulation operation.Figurative program platform can make it in the way of changing module's in-and-out-put segment merely. The changing of same modules is equated to the actual equipment changing. It greatly enhances the research feasibility, and reduces work on changing structure. Entire software display is as same as the actual contacting rolling process. It can be carried out immediately after the modification and the effect will soon display so as to analyze controlling effect. This modeling method provides a brand-new tool to realize the rolling system analysis and optimizing control.Building the suimlation module of plate shape controlling, constructing the sub system of plate shape controlling with that modules and using the change of model matrix, the decoupling controlling about thickness, tension, plate shape is got. In the process of the plate rolling, it is rolling force to always changes of draught pressure and causes changes of the bent roller. The process of continuous rolling is more complicated than single framework rolling. It contains the self adjustment of tensile, that is to say that any change of rolling rate and rolling tensile can cause the changes of entrance and exit velocity of speed and also cause the changes front and back tension. The changes of tension can cause each stand draught pressure changes and naturally it causes the change of the balance of roll bending , resulting in new shape and the bent of the roller. The decoupling calculation method combine the guage and shape affected factors, consider kinds of factors, and improve the effect of calculation method.The operational figurative simulation of plant and strip rolling can describe tandem roling, and the emulate system can evaluate and optimize the tandem rolling process.
