The field of numerical simulation for sheet metal forming nowadays is more active and more attractive because of its enormous importance to the economies of the industrialized countries. In recent years, with the developments of computer hardware and software, computer graphics technique, the theory of finite element, the finite element numerical simulation has gradually been the powerful tool for process analysis and optimal design.This research is supported by NSF named as:"The Independent Research of High-speed Simulation and Optimal Process Design aiming at the Formability of Automobile Panel"(No.50575080) and the 863 Program named as:"The Formability Design and Optimization of Automobile Parts base on Simulation"(No.2006AA04Z140). Based on the finite element numerical simulation software of FASTAMP, which is developed by State Key Laboratory of Material Processing and Die & Mould Technology of HUST, the author used the idea of software engineering to do comparatively comprehensive testing of systems and software maintenance for post-processing system, added some new functions, applied new technology in program, and realized refactoring of post-processing system.First, the idea of software engineering was used to do comparatively comprehensive testing of systems and software maintenance for post-processing system in this thesis, most Bug of post-processing system was found and modified, while the system's user interface was improved, which guaranteed stability, ease of use and aesthetics of post-processing system.Secondly, how to use OLE(Object Linking and Embedding) Automation Technology to build Word and Excel format of user analysis report was studied in the thesis. The author used OLE Automation to call Word and Excel, and applied STL(Sandard Template Library) Technology to export large amounts of data in Word and Excel, realized Word and Excel format of user analysis report, made post-processing system more convenient and practical, which better answered the needs of users.The application of multithread and OpenGL display list in post-processing system was discussed. The use of multithread programming and OpenGL display list can speed up the response of the system. These have greatly enhanced the performance of post-processing system.Finally, the author applied DLL(Dynamic Link Library) Technology to refactor post-processing system, made the system better maintainability and scalability. With design analysis method of UML(Unified Modeling Language), class models and graphics platform of the system were redesigned, the Extension DLL was used, the refactoring of post-processing system was achieved.Practice has proved that the use of software testing and maintenance, additional functional of users analysis report and the new programming technology use will enable post-processing system more stable and practical. A large number of projects shows the reconstruction of post-processing system is stable and able to meet the actual application.
