CAE for plastic injection molding software is a complex system, including a group of subsystems. Modern CAE software can provide more functional usages, for instance, HsCAE3D7.0 provides users a whole life circle solution. In this article, author tries to introduce several subsystems of HsCAE3D7.0, including injection parameters setting, an algorithm of injection time optimization and an algorithm of weld line prediction.This article first discusses how injection parameters influence the quality of products and implements an injection parameter setting system for HsCAE3D7.0. Gives out a method for injection parameter optimization, optimizes the flow rate in the goal of obtaining constant melt-font velocity and minimal warpage.Injection time optimization technology is the secondary research domain of this article. Based on the one dimensional flow model, using Finite Difference Method to calculate the field of temperature and field of pressure under the given injection time, then acquiring the optimization injection time according to the molding window.Weld line predicting algorithm is the last part of this article. Based on the information of Finite Element mesh and the result of filling analysis, this algorithm can calculate the locations and lengths of all weld lines and then make the designer clear how to improve the mold design.
