The quality of LCM parts largely relies on resin's flow in the process of molding.It is critical to adjust the process to guarantee the product quality.Resin viscose characteristics,the permeability of reinforcement,cavity pressure inside and outside the mold will affect the quality uniformity during molding filling and resin curing. It is difficult to predict the defects in the part during LCM process. Therefore,it is necessary to use real-time sensing and monitoring to elimination defects during LCM molding.It is an important guarantee for high-quality products.It is critical to adjust the process to guarantee the product quality.Real-time sensing and monitoring system at molding process is applied to observe the molding to ensure the product quality and data acquisition. Currently,the establishment of an effective system of real-time sensing and monitoring technology has become one of the hot spots in the technology of LCM.A real-time sensing and monitoring system for LCM process is introduced.In production,real-time feedback of the flow front in the mold can facilitate the adjustment process,lower production cost and reduce waste in the production.This paper focusing on materials,LCM processing and application of the technical research for the broad application of advanced composite materials,low-cost manufacturing technology to optimize the process theory.Based on initial voltage and measured voltage which was before and after molding,permeability which along the reinforcement vertical,with a large number of experiment,the real-time sensing and monitoring system was confirmed to monitor LCM molding and curing process very well.In some big parts of the production,it can be an excellent basis on which to monitor changes in the regulation of signal processing parameters,and improve productivity and quality.In this paper,the measurement of whether the copper wire inter in the composite material or not, performance research shows that the implantation of copper wire products for the stretching and bending performance is not significantly affected.The real-time sensing and monitoring was used to measure the reinforcement's permeability,while the traditional method is record manually.Research confirmed that the permeability data was similar by the two ways.Real-time sensing and monitoring is more convenient,labor-saving;and its permeability is measured by an average data,so the permeability is closer to the effective permeability which is manifested the resin molding in the reinforcement.Especially in large parts thick products,effective permeability is more accurate and better reflect the resin in the reinforcement of internal infiltration with real-time sensing and monitoring.It plays an important role in the production of thick parts in the real practice.
