In order to satisfy the request of high speed, high quality of fabrics, the paper designs the jet-loom control system on DSP. The paper is focus on analysing an electronic let-off control system of looms. By analyzing the tension distribution of the warp yarn, the tension model of the yarn is set up. It analyzes the working stability of the system and gives expression of the warp axis radius. The paper also studies control system of the weft feeder on FDP, and ameliorates its control method.In the design of the software,the paper designs software module for the air-jet loom control system on the unified modeling language (UML). This includes class diagram for static system, case diagram,state diagram, activity diagram and flow chart. The paper studies Modbus protocol and realizes the communication between touch screen and DSP controller.After the commissioning, it realizes the dynamic control of the warp tension, improves the quality of fabrics and prevents start mark and decrease fault points. Control for the weft feeding is stable. Communication between touch screen and DSP controller is reliable. An illustration of this way in a actual test indicates that the control system is high reliability and maintainability and satisfies users'requirement.
