As human awareness of environmental protection and their own health,the requirement for textiles is no longer limited to the requirements of popular styles and good performance,also requires such as environmental protection,health care and health performance.Therefore,development and production of new functional textile fibers to meet the more requirements to textiles in the future become an important research direction of the textile.This paper added the two mixed solutions of nanometer crystal of tourmaline with the faculty to make negative ion and mentha extracts with the natural antibacterial Capacity into cellulose viscose solution,make the three blends together to spin,and get viscose fiber with the antibacterial function and the faculty to release anion.It is the first time to choose mentha extracts as the antibacterial and nanometer crystal of tourmaline as the material of the faculty to make negative ion at the same time to make a multi-functional viscose fiber.The rheological properties of blend multi-functional cellulose solutions with different percent of mentha extracts solution and tourmaline nanometer crystal solution are investigated for the first time:1.At a temperature,viscosity index of the blend multi-functional cellulose solution increases when the percent of mentha extracts solution rise or the percent of tourmaline nanometer crystal solution lessen.2.Within a certain total adding range,viscosity index of the blend multi-functional cellulose solution is lower than the viscosity index of the cellulose viscose solution at the same temperature.3.The blend multi-functional cellulose viscose solution belongs to pseudolastic(shear-thinning) fluid.The viscosity decreases when temperature rises.4.The viscose flow active energy of the blend multi-functional cellulose solutions are not changed so much than the cellulose viscose solution.So changing the temperature to the spinning has no visible effect.And then,the compatibility between the cellulose viscose solution and the functional additives was investigated.Evaluate the compatibility through making different project blending solution films to test correlative performance.According considering to the rheological properties,compatibility and the price,fixed on a adding percent for founctinal solutions finally.From the SEM photographs and infrared scan,it can be also seen that two functional solutions and cellulose viscose solution can be compatible,the particle distribute uniformly in the film and the particle size can meet the spinning demands.Finally,the blend multi-functional cellulose viscose fiber was spanned successfully. Compared its some performance with conventional viscose fiber's from performance testing,it can be seen that the new multi-functional viscose fiber has the good wear behavior.The blending fiber' antibacterial performance testing and negative ion releasing performance testing showed that the multi-functional viscose fiber is a new fiber which have two function performance at the same time.
