After Daqing oil field entered the later period of high water cut, alkaline/surfactant/polymer flooding has become a key tertiary oil recovery technique to stabilize old oil field production, ASP has received better effect in decreasing water-cut and increasing oil for Daqing major oil reservior, however, some problems bebome more and more serious, such as bad plane contradiction and inter-layer contradiction brought by without limiting development target scope, low reservior control degree and injection rate result by too big well space. In the future, the residual potential of ASP industrialization will mainly focus on classâ…¡oil reservior with bad lateral inhomogeneity and vertical heterogeneity,which makes the application of ASP in classâ…¡oil reservior different from that in classâ… oil reservior in determination of development target, principle of layer combination and selection of well pattern and well space. Therefore, it is necessary to thoroughly study above prolems before large scale ASP pilot tests are undertaken in classâ…¡oil reservior. In this study, development target are determined on the basis of past pilot test regulations and laboratory experiments. Numerical simulation is used to investigate the influnence of permeability difference on oil displacement efficiency, thus the ideal permeability difference scope of a development layer system may be determined,and then principle of layer combination of ASP are determined on the basis of permeability difference scope and thickness boundary. in addition, porous flow theory and numerical simulation calculation are applied to investigate the influence of injection-production well space on ASP control degree of development target and injection-production ability on the basis of analysis of pilot test data. The results show that five-spot well pattern with 100-150m injection-production well space may satisfy the demand of ASP industrialization.
