The paper taked aerobic granular sludge technology and bioaugmentation technology as the core for wastewater treatment. Electrochemical-hydrolytic (acidification)-aerobic process was used for treatment of high concentration medicine production wastewater. Particularly, biological treatment of this wastewater by the integrated anaerobic-aerobic reactor was studied.The experiment includes three parts: bacteria's separation, aerobic granular sludge's using and bio-augmentation. Bacteria's separation is an important part of this experiment. Two kinds of bacteria of highly effective degradation in daily wastewater were separated after serious separation. It was a facultative bacteria (8-8-5) and an aerobic bacteria (8-7-2).The facultative bacteria (8-8-5) was used to consolidate the anaerobic process and the aerobic bacteria (8-7-2) was used to enhance the aerobic treatment efficiency in the experiment.Aerobic granular sludge demonstrated good solid liquid separation, high biomass retention, high activity and an ability to treat high concentration organic wastewater withstanding high loading rates. Aerobic granular sludge was cultivated in the integrated hydrolytic-aerobic reactor, the feasibility of using the said sludge to treat wastewater pretreated by electrolysis was investigated. The results showed that the biological system combining with A/O process and aerobic granular sludge had a good effect to treat this wastewater. The effluent quality was stable, the removal rate of COD was above 90% and the effluent concentration of COD was below 80mg/L when the higher influent concentration of COD was 1000mg/L and HRT was 27h. The experiment proved that the engineering application prospect of high concentration organic wastewater treated by the aerobic granular sludge was bright.When the wastewater was treated by using aerobic granular sludge, the specific nutrition was added into the aerobic sludge for further strengthening and then high efficient bacterias were added. The influence of treatment effect on biological system applying bio-augmentation was investigated. The results showed that the biosystem with enhanced sludge contributed a good operational property. The removal rate of COD was above 95% and the effluent concentration of COD was below 80mg/L when the influent COD concentration was about 2500mg/L, the day treatment water amount was 60L and the organic loading rate was 2.60~3.20kgCOD/(m3·d),and the treatment capacity was 3.125 times of that before specific nutrition added. Then high efficient bacterias were added for further bio-augmentation, the bearable load of the influent COD concentration of the integrated anaerobic-aerobic reactor was about 3000mg/L and the organic loading rate was 2.94~3.46kgCOD/(m3·d).The effluent concentration of COD was below 80mg/L and NH3-N was below 2mg/L after continuous and steady operation for a long time. And the quality of the effluent after treatment accorded with the second level of "State Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard" (GB8978-1996).In this thesis, the process's running cost is low, the administration is convenient and the effluent quality was stable and superior to the state-relatived effluent quality standard, it could conquer a further development. This process showed good economic and environmental benefit and broad market.
