Making use of arc electrical source, the high-frequency transformer ,the voltage feedback device and the current feedback device, we can get strong direct-current which is fit for the volt-ampere character of electric arc, so it is possible to obtain a stable and high-effect welding source by the fact that the electric arc discharges, which can be widely used in the welding, contaminated gas treatment fields.The main parts of this article take the 2000 W direct-current contravariant arc welding power supply design and fabrication as the purpose. The introduction part points out the principle and general developing situation of the power supply, and gives an introduction of the developing and implication of the technology home and abroad; On that basis, the main parts carry out detailed thorough expounding on the circuital structure, principle, parameter design and component choice of the control circuit, drive and power source host etc. We construct switch regulated power source which has multipath exports with TOPSwitch-II component, to carry out current supply on the controlling circuit. We analyse and compare common PWM controlling chips, and select one appropriate chip to structure pulse-width modulation control circuit which is used for driving bridge circuit. It contains over current and over voltage protection circuit in the controlling circuit. The IGBT drive has a strict request, therefore select and use existing drive modules to design the drive to facilitate the design and make the circuit to be more stable. In circuital design of host, we chose entire bridge circuit to be contravariant method according to power source power, considering factors such as price and function, chose ferrite transformer magnetism core; In view of the effect of magnatic biasing, block condenser is applied to guard against the transformer magnetic saturation; We optimize the circuit with a current-limiting resistance and active filter to guard against surging electric current and the high-frequency interference. Test result show that these measure may raise power source efficiency and function very much. Among such situations, the power supply has the following features: high efficiency, saving energy, less of weight and volume, better controlled, fast dynamic response and can be controlled simultaneously.In this article we get strong direct-current used in welding through the IGBT inverting technology, and finally obtain the direct-current arc power supply, with current of 0-30A. Since the circuit technology is mature and the component choice is reasonable, the power source can gain a fine stability. The article finality makes a data complement and try to describe the prospect of arc welding power supply.
