Du 84 Guan Tao formation of Liao He Oilfield is a giant super-heavy oil reservoir on the top, edge and at the end of the reservoir. After entering the latter part of the steam stimulation development, steam-assisted gravity oil spills (SAGD) pilot test was launched. Better development results were obtained. But as the trial continued expansion in the size and depth, in the latter part of the SAGD, what measures should be taken to control the steam chamber on the vertical expansion and inhibit the top water discharged, and further enhance the development of effect has been immediate. SAGP is evolved from SAGD process. A small amount of non-condensate gas is added to the steam to adjust the expansion direction of the steam chamber and lower the up speed of steam, thereby inhibiting the top water discharged and extending the production time of SAGD effectively. Based on the geological research on the super heavy oil of Du 84 and development evaluation of SAGD, optimize the types of non- condensate gas added to SAGP for Du 84. The mining process parameters of SAGP are designed and optimized. In this paper, the forecast results of development indicators are presented about the application of SAGP technology in the pilot area. In Du 84, SAGD production is turned to SAGP production after one year. Cumulative production time is 11 years, the cumulative steam injection is about 517.89×104t, the cumulative Note N2 gas is129.67×104m3, the cumulative oil-producing is to 107.14×104t, the cumulative oil and gas ratio is 0.21, and the stage of recovery is 43.02 percent level. Research shows that SAGP is an effective mean to improve the development of Du 84.
