The increasingly vehement competition of PC enclosure industry has led to increase in pressure of product producing cycle time and quality. It is a big challenge for the die design development team, how to face the more and more strict product quality need and decreasing product producing cycle time. In traditional theory account, experience data reference, finite element method, computer simulation and experiment, we must select several methods and use them to control the dimension quality of sheet metal effectively, it is very important now.In the paper, we research the quality problem of the Pc enclosure sheet metal,and find a set of solution plan to control the dimension quality.We research the spring-back of top and bottom cover in the PC enclosure, which is made of aluminum. We analyze the product quality need. We use the die theory, experience and technology, and combine quality management methods, especially control chart and design of experiment to analyze and control the spring-back of sheet metal. We solved the product dimension quality problems in the die development process. We combine the quality management process with die development process, and the product is producing now. With good quality and little cycle time, we win the customer's order sheet from the opponent. It is great benefit to the company.Otherwise, aiming at the"no enough bend distance"problem that is often happened in the die development process, we research the spring-back of little bend distance sheet metal with design of experience, we gained important usable experience data group.
