Steel cut machine is the necessary equipment for processing of steel, and various manufacturers optimize the corporation structure, strive to reduce the production cost, and develop new products constantly in order to develop the technical capabilities, and raise the competition of their product in recent years. Along with the theory of steel cut machine is unceasingly thorough, there is no sufficient further study on the analysis of its body stress, and the manufacturing cost is also expensive. When it cuts off the steel rods, it will produce resistance force immediately, which also produces great reacting force. Cut machine body is easy to craze and shorten service life because of inappropriate design. If you simply thicken its body in order to enhance the strength, it will waste the materials, increase the cost the production, and weaken the competitiveness due to the lack of accurate data.This paper introduced the history and the current situation of the cutting machine at home and abroad. based on new generation FEA simulated platform(ANSYS Workbench) and parametric modeling platform(Pro/E). associated the parametric modeling platform with inite element analysis system. After assembled It has taked on mechanism simulation and disassembly animation demo about the assembly. and then by the way of importing into element software(ANSYS Workbench) Obtained the results about box body displacement and stress distribution by finite element analysis and calculated the natural frequency and modes by doing the modal analysis about the box body. In orde to improve the structural design parameters ,utilize ANSYS software vaidation and comparised the optimization results. It is necessary to do the Optimization design about cut machine of the box body on the basis of these results. So that Steel cut machine meet the strength and stiffness in the case of the structure with the most reasonable. For the cutting machine is designed to provide technical support and theoretical guidance. This is very helpful to enhance the competitiveness of their products.
