Freshwater shortage and water resources pollution are the problems worldwide, and they are the challenge to economic growth in china.Freshwater shortage can be eased by municipal sewage reuse,which is in the developing stage in china. Compared with developed countries,the reuse radio is relatively low.Benefiting developed countries' experiences,consummating policy system and developing suitable technologies,we will make the field of municipal sewage reuse develop rapidly and healthily in China.According to this principle,a new compound type was designed which is anaerobic.It is consisted of a novel anaerobic reactor and anaerobic MBR units.At first,the high or medium density wastewater flowed into the novel anaerobic reactor segment to be forward treated.And then,the effluent water of high performance bioreactor as the influent water of MBR flowed into the membrane unit.Finally,the liquid was reused or discharged.Dairy wastewater as influent liquid was artificial in the experiment.Not only carried on a research to the novel anaerobic reactor,to the whole set of movement characteristic of the system also carried on analysis.Therefore,it can provide a reference for the thorough research and physically applied.The following conclusions can be drawn through the study:(1) when the aerobic and digested mixed sludge were used as seed at mesophilic temperature(35±2℃),if the glucose medium concentration water was used as cultivating wastewater,it could shorten the period of the start-up of reactor and the start-up of reactor was successfully finished in a short time.(2) During dairy wastewater treatment by the novel anaerobic reactor,the change of HRT had great effect on the gas production and the COD removal,and had little effect on the SS removal and the VFA.The NH3-N of dairy wastewater was not basiclly removed during this process.(3) After the start-up of reactor had been finished,the microorganism forms had great change in different compartment of the reactor corresponding to different substance. After the artificial dairy wastewater treatment was finished,the microorganism forms had almost no change in different compartment of the reactor and they all made up of spherical and filaceous bacterium.(4) The qulity of liquid got great improvement,after the artificial dairy wastewater was treated by the system of the novel anaerobic reactor + AMBR.The system ran stably,the treatment efficiency was better.MBR can improve the pH of the effluent water of high performance bioreactor 0.4 to 0.5.(5) In the experiment,it was adopted the physical cleaning method to the polluted film at first.Then make sodium hypochlorite as chemical abluent to carry on chemistry cleaning.This method showed that the instauration of film flux was better.(6) The benefit performance showed that this new module—a novel anaerobic reactor +AMBR was outstanding in the aspects of economic and social milieu.So obviously this system was competitive.
