In the metallic material process, abrasive cut-off machine is still being used at a great many plants for its high efficiency. High pressure oil, which is always used for lowering work piece temperature, will volatilize and then create oil mist permeating in the oil mist permeating in the workshop. The electrostatic precipitator is extensively a kind of environmental protection device which is applied in professions, such as cement, electric power, metallurgy and building materials. it has very remarkable effect to the treatment of the waste gas and dust. In order to abate the oil mist, a high voltage power supply for electrostatic precipitator is designedThe thesis summarizes the constitution and the basic principle of electrostatic precipitator, in addition to discuss the connection between the electricity parameter, spark and dust efficiency of high voltage power supply systemThis paper analyses the basic principle of electrostatic precipitation and the ESP's request for power supply, designs the system structure of high frequency switched mode power supply for ESP. The whole system is made up of main circuit and control circuit. The main circuit includes rectifier filter circuit, half-bridge dc-to-ac converter, step up transformer and high voltage rectifier circuit. the core component of main Circuit is dc-to-ac converter, and the high frequency power transformer made of amorphous materials can greatly improve the efficiency and minish its volumes compared with traditional ferrite material. The ZVS half-bridge converter has found many applications due to its distinct characteristics; it permits all switching devices to operate under zero-voltage switching by using circuit parasitic such as leakage inductance and power MOSFET junction capacitance to achieve resonant switching.TL494 chip is selected as the main control chip in designing of control circuit. The system feedback and PI controller consist of precision operation amplifier and separated feedback component. And digital control is made of 51 series SCM which is the most widely used in the field of control. The technology of detection is combined to compose the power supply system, which has the perfect control and protection function. a switch high voltage power supply with high performance is finished.
