High-speed cold roll-beating technique is the net forming processing method that the characteristic of metal plastic forming is used, top revolving roller is applied to roll and beat blank shaft, then force mental to flow and form component profile. Single-point cold roll-beating forming technique of lead screw is non-scrap plastic forming technique, whose basic principle is that rollers beat lead screw rapidly intermittently with simple points in order to make partial plastic deformation of lead screw and form lead screw raceway when the motion of roller and lead screw conforms to certain specification, and has important research meaning and application value.The principle and forming process of lead screw cold roll-beating is analyzed. Cold roll-beating motion of lead screw is researched. Based on the space meshing theory and the contact condition of tool rotating surface and processing helicoids, the mathematical model is established, and obtained axial profile shape of roll-beating wheel.Three dimensional solid model of lead screw's cold roll-beating is established. The dynamic simulation of lead screw's cold roll-beating processing is analyzed by the multibody dynamic theory and ADAMS. The relationship of velocity,time and force in cold roll-beating is researched, and obtained forces at different conditions in cold roll-beating of lead screw. Based on the stress wave theory, stress wave model of lead screw cold roll-beating is built, stress wave transfer rule is obtained and the speed of stress wave is calculated.Finite element model of lead screw cold roll-beating is built. Stress distribution at different moments, strain distribution at different moments, stress change process with time, plastic strain change process with time of lead screw forming process is researched by ANSYS/LS-DYNA. Metal flow of lead screw cold roll-beating process is analyzed, and metal flow's law of minimum resistance is verified.Designed and developed an experimental device of single-point accumulation high-speed cold roll-beating. Cold roll-beating process experiment is studied with annealed treatment copper robust. Hardened layer distribution and metal microstucture variation are analyzed. The results showed that hardened layer of cold-rolling lead screw along raceway normal direction is a gradient distribution; hardness of raceway surface is increase significantly; metal microstucture is refine obviously; performance of lead screw obtain excellent improve; this have important reference value for further study on high-speed single-point accumulation forming method.
