China is the world's largest coal producer,but the coal mine accidents in China is also rank the first in the world. The investigation results of a great deal of coalmine accidents show that the happening of coalmine accidents was mostly caused by miner's unsafe behaviors and the poor corporate governance,we think that the degree of miners work engagement is one of the important reasons of causing their unsafe behaviors and that may be related to the workers' personality traits, perceived organizational support and the leaders' leadership style.Throughing survey research methods, with item analysis and explorative factor analysis,we got a four-dimensional charismatic leadership questionnaire.In the study,we chose 547 ordinary miners and 32 monitors from Zaozhuang city of Shandong province as the samples.Correlation analysis and regression analysis were used in the research.With these analyses the main conclusions drawn are as follows:1.Charismatic leadership was positive prediction of work engagement.2.POS partially mediated relationship between charismatic leadership and work engagement.3.Miners' emotional intelligence moderated the mediator model between POS,charismatic leadership and work engagement.At last,with the conclusion of the study,we give some suggestions to coal mine enterprise to improve the miners' work engagement and the monitor's charisma in practice.
