Environmental problems are becoming more and more prominent in the world, causing people to think about green governance and the pursuit of sustainable development. As one of the main components of the society, enterprises should consciously assume the responsibility of social sustainable development, and use more environmentally friendly production and management methods to promote the green development of enterprises. The behavior of employees is an important factor to promote the trend of enterprise behavior.Nowadays, the post-80 s and 90 s have become the new force in the labor market. In production practice, the new generation differs from the old generation in thought and behavior. In order to improve the values and behaviors of employees, especially to stimulate the environmental protection behaviors of the new generation of employees, the role model of leaders in the organization is indispensable.By combing domestic and foreign literature, this paper finds that many scholars have noticed the importance of inclusive leadership. As inclusive leadership respects subordinates and follows and satisfies the trend of diversified talent management in an open and generous way, more and more studies have been conducted on the behavior of inclusive leadership on employees.Previous studies mostly focused on the exploration of voice behavior, innovation and other positive behaviors of the new generation of employees. There are few studies on the relationship between inclusive leadership and employees’ environmental behavior, especially proactive environmental behavior, and most of them have proved that stimulating the new generation of employees’ sense of identity and belonging can promote employees’ follower behavior. Therefore, this paper introduces the sense of job vitality as the intermediary variable and based on the organizational situation in China. The traditional value concept of collectivism is introduced as the moderating variable to explore the influence of inclusive leadership on employees’ civic behavior of environmental organizations. After reviewing the existing literature, based on the social exchange theory and social learning theory, this study proposed the hypothesis and constructed the hypothesis model. In the form of network questionnaire distribution,SPSS26.0 and AMOS data analysis software were used to analyze the hypothesis, and on this basis, the conclusion was obtained by verifying the hypothesis. This study finally draws the following conclusions:(1)Inclusive leadership positively affects the environmental behavior of the new generation of employees;(2)Employees’ sense of job exuberance plays an intermediary role in the relationship between inclusive leadership and the new generation of employee environmental organization citizenship behavior;(3)Collectivist values positively moderated the relationship between inclusive leaders and the new generation of employees’ environmental organization citizenship behavior. This paper discusses the relationship between inclusive leadership and the environmental behavior of the new generation of employees, providing reference and ideas for organizational management and development: First of all, inclusive leaders have positive values.Through their own personality traits, employees can feel happiness and a sense of belonging at work, thus improving their sense of identity with leaders. This sense of identity further guides employees to redefine their concept of green development with the values, ethics and behavior of inclusive leaders.Secondly, enterprises should create an atmosphere of cherishing talents and providing psychological and spiritual support to employees,so that the new generation of employees with a strong sense of learning and vitality can further promote employees’ proactive environmental behavior and other positive behaviors, which is conducive to better training employees’ environmental awareness. Finally, organizations should also pay attention to the differences in employees’ values and adopt different strategies for employees with different characteristics,so as to reduce employees’ negative emotions and encourage them to produce more environmental behaviors outside their roles.
