Downhole energy consumption of pumping unit has great influence on system efficiency, identifying energy consumption distribution of downhole devices is very important to improve the system efficiency. At present, it is difficult to accurately determine the energy consumption distribution of downhole devices by indicator diagram. Therefore, it is essential to carry out simulation research and experiment analysis on downhole devices, identify the proportional relationship of various components, which provides basis for optimization and design of downhole devices, it is of great significance to the development of energy-saving in oil fields.Applied CFX software, established three-dimensional simulation model of pump, using dynamic grid technology, carried out transient simulation analysis on the pump, simulated the valve hydraulic losses, plunger volume loss and plunger friction losses of the pump at different working conditions throughout the stroke. Studied the effects of different factors such as frequency, rate of water content, pump radius, and pump clearance-level on hydraulic losses, plunger volume loss and plunger friction losses of the pump. Obtained downhole pump diagram through the simulation, and found the transient trends of plunger annulus leakage rate and pump pressure.Established three-dimensional simulation model of rod tube annulus, simulate sucker rod and tubing annulus frictional losses under different conditions. The effects factors of rod and tubing annulus frictional losses includes rate of water content, stroke, frequency and eccentricity. The rod tube annulus friction loss factors are moisture content, stroke times and frequency. Among them, frequency and eccentricity are the greater effects factors.Conducted energy consumption experiments of rubber packing, graphite packing, belts packing under different conditions. The effects factors of packing energy consumption includes stroke, frequency, wellhead pressure and preload, and obtained the equation of packing energy consumption through statistical analysis of test data; identified the reasonable preload ranges of above sealing materials.
