The drilling rig of the petroleum mining machinery is a complex mechanical system, in which the event of damage or deformation of any part of the whole system will impact on the work. So we need to do regular safety evaluation necessarily, and the perfect of the safety evaluation process is very imporment.This paper analyses some general purpose methods of the safety evaluation, describes the main content and the basic workflow of every method of safety evaluation, introduce the generation and development of fuzzy mathematics, and relate several important concepts of the fuzzy mathematics.The paper establishes an index system of the safety evaluation by analyzing and researching the present quality situation of the petroleum mining machinery drilling system. For evaluating the safety level of the petroleum mining machinery drilling system objectively and reducing unilateral safety evaluation which is generated by subjectivity and arbitrariness, the author adopts the method of the multi-level fuzzy comprehensive assessment and establishes factor set of the fuzzy assessment and reviews set. This paper gains the weight of each factor by utilizing the Delphi method and the analytical hierarchy process, and establishes the mathematical model of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. The author tests the acceptance of load of the petroleum mining machinery drilling derrick. Combining theory and practice, the author draws up the safety table of the petroleum mining machinery drilling system.At last, according to related statutes the author does comprehensive safety evaluation to the petroleum mining machinery drilling system of the drilling crew by combining stress measurement of derrick capacity and the safety check result of the drilling crew's equipment.The evaluation result shows that it can enhance the work capacity of the drilling system, reduce the casualties and property losses, and improve the economic efficiency after completing the evaluation system. At the same time it can provides a new way for other evaluations.
