Energy consumption is a key symbol of cis-butadiene rubber unit production level. Agglomeration is the most concentrative section of the whole unit, so energy consumption reduction mainly focuses on the agglomeration section.To solve high energy consumption in the existing cis-butadiene rubber unit, based on related energy-saving theory, the energy-saving technology is systematically analyzed range from dispersants selection and consumption, adjustment of two final machine operation to pre-agglomeration, differential-pressure agglomeration, etc. SP-169 dispersant decreases water's surface tension to raise poly-butadiene dispersion effect, solvent consumption decreases by 5.1 kg per ton of rubber. Pre-agglomerationer is developed which is composed of water superheater, water-poly-butadiene mixer, nozzle. It raised temperature and pressure of water-poly-butadiene mixture, solvent consumption decreases by 12.8 kg per ton of rubber. The agglomeration section operation mode is changed from equal-pressure agglomeration into differential-pressure agglomeration. Original two agglomerationer operation pressure is 0.05MPaG, revamped first agglomerationer operation pressure is 0.08MPaG, second one's operation pressure is 0.02MPaG. Steam consumption decreases by 0.9 ton per ton of rubber, solvent consumption decreases by 4.2 kg per ton of rubber.The technology presented in this paper can be widely used in the similar cis-butadiene rubber unit, it is meaningful for unit energy consumption reduction, production cost reduction.
