The research of this paper was partial contents of the Special Environmental Protection of "study on integration of key technologies to further improve water quality of sewage treatment plant". According to the needs of upgrading for municipal sewage treatment plant, the applicability of high-efficiency V-fiber filter in advanced treatment process was studied in sewage plant. The best filter period was determined as effluent turbidity to be controlled targets in different filtration rate conditions, which used secondary sedimentation tank effluent as raw water. The effect of water purification was studied in the filtration cycle, and the capacity of interception, changes in head loss and backwash characteristics were also investigated. The main research results of thesis are as follows:(1). The filter cycle was 47h,23h,15h andl2h corresponding to the filtration rate which was 10m/h,20m/h,30m/h,40m/h, respectively, under the experimental conditions of control of filter effluent turbidity in 1NTU. The filtration cycle of 23h for follow-up tests was determined by optimizing water production rate and backwashing frequency.(2). The backwashing mode of high-efficiency V-fiber filter used water backwash(4min)-air-water with water backwash(14min)-water backwash(2min) and face washing, and the intensity are 10L water/m2·s,40L air/m2·s and 2L face water/m2·s, respectively. The sludge was washed out is more than 90% and the residue sludge accounts for the weight of fiber bundle ratio is less than 0.6% after backwashing. The quantities of saved dirt of V-style fiber filter was 12.52 kg/m3·滤料.(3). As the filtration rate was 20m/h, the filtering period was 23h, The elimination rate of SS have reached above 70%, the elimination rate of COD and NH3-N have reached 5%~33% and 4.5%~14%. the periodic quantity of water produce can reach 440m3/m2, less using of backwashing water.(4). the function of filtering pressure loss is educed by using drag theory. the function of head loss is derived on the basis of the theory of three-dimensional random, and used the correction factorφto revise the equation. Comparison between dimensionless permeability predicted by various equations and experimental data indicates that the new equation established agrees reasonably well with the experimental data.(5) V-style fiber filter t has good yielding water's quality, well filtering velocity, big quantities of saved dirt, well effect of backwashing. The running results show that high-efficiency V-fiber filter is feasible in advanced treatment process.
