In recent years, iron ore resource of easy processing is faced with the situation of shortage day by day in China. The research of sinter made of magnetite has already achieved a very high level. But the high basicity sinter made of hematite is out of systematic study. For there are lots of hematite existed in Sijiaying mine, a series of sinter made of Sijiaying iron ore is studied. Through many experiments such as chemical analysis and microscope observing, the mineral composition and microstructure of sintering raw and the microstructure of Sijiaying sinter were systematically studied. Then the influence of metallurgy properties of Sijiaying ore fine is analysed, basicity and carbon content in different parameter, and find the logical sinter parameter of Sijiaying sinter combined with produce. The mineral composition of Sijiaying sinter is made of hematite and magnetite, and mineral composition is single, so as to the crystal granularity is thin. The mineral composition of sinter with hematite is simple, the structure is interweaving corroded, accordingly, the content of calcium ferrite is high. The metallurgical properties of all sinter samples are fine, and the tumbler strength is above 57%, the reducibility is above 85%, at the same time, the RDI+3.15 is above 73%. The reducibility and RDI+3.15 are gradually becoming high with the Sijiaying ore fines and basicity increase. The best parameter of Sijiaying sinter is educed by the TFe content, productivity effect, mineral composition, metallurgical properties of the sinter. So the corresponding sinter is the best when Sijiaying carbon content is 3.75%, iron ore fines is 80% and basicity is 1.9.
