pneumatic cut tobacco conveying and pneumatic sliver conveying are widely used in the cigarette industry. because of the flexible arrangement, convenient management and high automatic control. The pneumatic cut tobacco conveying system, which draws a fixed volume of compensation air through an air intake branch when cigarette maker doesn't suction cut tobacco, is the main transmission mode of cut tobacco at present in our country. Although it ensures the stability of the whole system, it also increases the system load and energy consumption. Considering this situation and the characteristics of pneumatic sliver collecting system, a new system was proposed in this paper. Integrating the cut tobacco conveying system with a pneumatic sliver collecting system by using the compensation air of former as part of air supply to the latter. the compound system was analyzed and studyed on this basis. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, the characteristics of pneumatic cut tobacco conveying system and pneumatic sliver collecting system were analyzed and the compound system was proposed.Secondly, the mathematical model of hydraulic condition in compound system network was established by using network graph theory. The cross iterative method of fundamental circuit analytic was used to solve this model. And obtained wind speed and wind pressure in different conditions of the compound system network.Thirdly, the stability and speed of these two systems were analyzed respectively through a specific example. The results were as follows: the compound system could satisfy the cut tobacco stable conveying and the sliver collecting conveying, while pneumatic cut tobacco conveying is more stable as increasing air volume of pneumatic sliver conveying.Finally, combining with engineering example, the energy consumption is comparative analyzed between compound system and independent system. The result indicates that the compound system can not only meet the needs of engineering practice, but also has great significance of energy-saving. So the compound system has great practical value and popularized significance.
