The digtal simulation of NC lathe is the important part of modern manufacturing engineering,which plays more and more important role in producing machining and promotion of NC technology.The large commercial suppositional NC lathe has a great effect on modern manufacture.However,due to the high cost and high requirements of technology,its promotion in minor enterprise is restrited.So this article's purpose is to probe into a way of developing suppositional NC lathe and provide reference for minor enterprise.This article aims at developing the digtal simulation of NC lathe.First,it assures the composition of the software's interface and comes up with an essential idear:making Visual Studio 6.0 as a platform, combining with the technology of OpenGL,using the C++ language to realise the relevant function.Then,an introductory about realising the MDI suppositional panel module is given.In addition, this article makes an interface which forms NC code automatically in detail according to the graph.Simultaneously,we can operate data conveniently because the data base of systematic deterioration and deviation has been founded.The article has the NC code inputting in MDI, especially the correct function of code, reseached. Whereras, it can realize the NC code's explanning and handling by using the NC technology, and combining with the Open GL to realize the NC machining simulation.Another characterastis of this article is a deep introductory on the key of various types and functions which are on the operation panel.What's more, it displays the key of virtual NC system.At last, the article makes the interface and working process of virtual NC system in detail by the practical machining examples of a typical helicoid part.And the system's feasibility is proved by these examples.The virtual NC system takes the code's incapsulation and good migratability, programming realization, development file's organization in consideration. This article can provide reference for the development of similar system and lay a stable foundation of the further perfection.
