Fire damp explosion was one of the major disasters, a serious threat to the lives of worksand enterprises. Because of the complexity of the underground environment, to a certainextent, it increased the extent of the damage and scope of the disaster.Other flammability gases besides methane in coal mine are participate in explosionduring the fire damp explosion, and they extremely influence the explosion process. Theflammability gases influence the fire damp explosion in many ways. This paper have studiedthe methane explosion identity of the flammability explosion that carbon monoxide, hydrogenand ethane are existed, and the influence disciplinarian on the basis of theoretical analysis anda lot of experiment data. In order to research the explosion suppressed technology offlammability gases, the method of adding inert materials to explosion field was applied tochange the explosion limit. The conclusions were achieved as the following:1. Through the theories of chemical thermodynamics, combustion, detonation andengineering thermodynamics, the natural parameters of explosion temperature, explosionpressure, and explosion limit were computed. So, we achieve the explosion identity in theory.2. Experiment system of testing the explosion process of flammability explosive mixedgases has been established and improved. Through the test data, the influence laws onexplosion pressure and its minimal oxygen concentration, critical oxygen concentration,initial pressure etc were achieved and comprised with the computed result.3. The method of adding inert materials to explosion field was applied to studysuppressing means of explosion of flammability explosion mixed gases. The test results showthat other flammability gases can increase the methane risk factor, for example it can changethe explosion limit, decrease the minimal oxygen concentration and increase the explosionpressure. Therefore, we must strictly do the work in practice and the safety problem of flammability explosive mixed gases was resolved.
