Gas explosion accident is the first killer of mine safety in china, so it is a serious threat tothe lives of the mine workers and the sustainable development of coal industry. In order tocontrol gas explosion accident effectively, based on the analysis of the gas explosion hazard,proposed and constructed the safety assessment model of gas explosion hazard based onRSSVM.At the same time, combined with the mine situation, the gas explosionearlywarningsystem was studied. It has importantly practical significance to strengthen themanagement of gas explosion hazard and to reduce the incidence of coal mine accident.Firstly, based on the review of the theory of hazards, its method of identification and thegeneral procedure of safety assessment, analyzed the characteristics of gas explosion hazard,and analyzed five affected factors from the respects of three types of hazard of gas explosionin coal mine, The results show that most of gas explosion accidents owe to interaction andcoexist of the five basic conditions, especially, management deficiencies is the fundamentalreason of gas explosion accidents.Secondly, according to analysis of three types of hazards of gas explosion, constructedassessment index system of gas explosion hazard in coal mine heading face, and thencombining the property of reduction of knowledge of rough set and multiclassprinciple ofsupport vector machine to research the method for safety assessment of gas explosion hazard,construct a safety assessment model of gas explosion hazard based on RSSVMin coal mineheading face. Through applying to the data from mine field in calculation analysis of samples,the model was verified that it has better applicability and feasibility because the result isconsistent with the actual situation.Finally, those research achievements were applied in the research of the development of gas explosion earlywarningsystem, which is a subsystem of the gas earlywarningsystem inYimamining area in Henan province. Through completing the function analysis andarchitecture design of the system, the development of system was achieved and obtainedpreliminary application. It can play a decision assistant role in the daily management of thecoal mine, and have practical significance to improve the level of safety monitor andmanagement in coal mine.
