The semi solid aluminum alloy slurry of ZA101 is obtained by the Pouring Process with inclined plate cooling under alternating electromagnetic field and traditional inclined plate cooling. The orthogonal experiment is used to devise the experiments in order to investigate the influence of the microstructure of semisolid slury, which is exerted by the pouring temperature and the inclined degree of tube and heating temperature of tube and stiring frequency of electric current and heat temperature preservation of crucible. Finally these technical parameters are optimized. Under the influence of the Pouring Process with inclined plate cooling under alternating electromagnetic field method and traditional inclined plate cooling method of grain size is born from roundness and average equivalent diameter in different pouring temperature, flow cooling inclined pipe, flow cooling temperature preheating inclined pipe angle and crucible insulation temperature conditions, aims to clarify alloy melt in the electromagnetic field (alternating with physical or disturbance effect of mixing convection motion, and mix of convection during solidification nuclei and grain growth.at crystal was born.The experiment results show that although the different ways of physical disturbance generating and the different functions of the strength and extence have the different influences with the formation and evolution of the tissue when making slurry, but the fact that the alloy melt on the additional field or additional disturbance effection of physical exercise mixed convection, as a rule, is always existing as a tendency and a law. Under the condition that crystals of free and mixed inhibition strong cases(such as fierce converction for a long time), then the metal crystallization will form small saponaceous spherulite tissue, like under alternating electromagnetic field cooling pulping for semi-solid materials;and then the lesser extent(such as traditional flow cooling pulping), only to increased nucleation rate in a certain extent and limited grain for growth of dentrited crystal developed in a certain extentThe results showed that the alloy under alternating electromagnetic field cooling inclined pipe after dendrite form first eutectic aluminum phase, the traditional spheroidizing degree above the inclined pipe flow cooling after primary a phase (electromagnetic experiments, alternating flow cooling method under the average income for 0.643 grain roundness, traditional flow cooling method about 0.617). Under the influence of electromagnetic field for alternating flow cooling pulp, properly reduce pouring temperature (only about 20℃above liquidus), improve under alternating electromagnetic field of inclined pipe cooling preheated temperature for 400℃, use of electromagnetic flow under cross-stress inclined pipe cooling Angle for 60°, small crucible preheated temperature for 250℃and big alternating current strength for 30A can have a clear improvement grain roundness and grain diameter of average equivalent. For traditional flow cooling pulping is properly reduce pouring temperature (about 30℃above liquidus), improve the flow of inclined pipe cooling preheated temperature for 400℃, moderate flow cooling inclined pipe Angle for 45°, improve the preheated temperature for 300℃can have a clear improvement grain roundness and grain average diameter.
